The Uganda Crane’s striker Denis Omedi scored a brace as his side APR FC defeated Kiyovu Sports Club in the Rwanda Premier League matchday fifteen at Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda.
The former Kitara FC striker was playing his league debut which they won 2-1.
Kiyovu SC break dreadlocks in the 14th minutes through Niyo David and eleven minutes later Denis Omedi scored spectacular equalizer, and his second goal for the club in the 25th minutes of the game.

The diminutive forward scored the winning goal two minutes to the end of the first half with a lobbed strike from outside the penalty area to squeeze the gap edging closer to the table leaders (Rayon Sports).
The Rwanda’s most successful club winning with 22 league titles deployed all its three new signings including Denis Omedi, Cheick Ouattara and Hakim Kiwanuka.
Omedi had a fine debut for APR FC scoring from the penalty spot in their 2-0 victory over Emmanuel Okwi’s AS Kigali in the Heroes Cup semifinals on Tuesday January 29th 2025.

APR FC are second placed on league table with 34 points in 16 games. They will return to action on Sunday 16th against third placed As Kigali.
