BUL FC winger Reagan Kalyowa has committed his future to the Eastern Giants by signing a fresh two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until July 30, 2027.
The 2023/24 season marked the end of his previous deal, but the club has moved swiftly to retain the services of one of its most influential homegrown talents.
Kalyowa, a graduate of BUL FC’s junior ranks, earned his senior team promotion during the 2019/2020 campaign and has since played a crucial role in the club’s rise.
Over the years, the nimble winger has been instrumental in some of BUL’s biggest achievements including lifting the club’s first-ever Uganda Cup in 2021 and clinching back-to-back FUFA Super 8 titles in 2023 and 2024.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, a visibly elated Kalyowa shared his ambition and gratitude: “It’s an incredible feeling to extend my stay at BUL. This club has been my home, and I’m proud of the journey we’ve had. I still have many goals to achieve here, the ultimate one being making a move to professional football from this very platform.”
Head coach Abbey Kikomeko praised the player’s continued loyalty and underlined his importance to the team:
“Reagan is a special talent, quick, unpredictable, and technically gifted. His presence gives us a major edge going forward, and we are confident his best years are still ahead. We’re delighted to keep him in our plans.”
Kalyowa’s new deal not only reinforces BUL FC’s attacking options but also signals the club’s intent to build a squad around core players ahead of upcoming domestic and regional competitions.
