Vipers SC Withdraws from Scheduled Fixture Amid Ongoing Dispute Over League Reforms

Vipers Sports Club has come out to notify its fans, stakeholders, the football community, and the general public that the club will not take part in the upcoming double-header fixture against Kitara FC, originally set for Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at Namboole Stadium.

This decision comes as a result of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) failing to adequately address the concerns we have raised through multiple correspondences and formal petitions regarding the recently introduced league format and structural reforms.

As a club deeply committed to the integrity of the game, Vipers SC believes in a football system built on transparency, inclusivity, and respect for all voices within the sport. Until FUFA provides a clear and respectful response to the issues we’ve outlined, our participation in the affected fixtures will remain on hold.

We are grateful for the unwavering support of our fans, well-meaning football supporters, and all those who stand for fairness in the game. Together, we continue to advocate for a league system that values the input and rights of all stakeholders.
