The much-anticipated Kitara versus Vipers SC fixture remains unconfirmed, even after the Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat released an updated set of fixtures to cover postponed matches and balance the competition calendar.
Despite realigning several of Vipers’ earlier games, the league body is yet to fix a date for the Kitara encounter a development that continues to raise eyebrows among fans and stakeholders. Questions now linger over the FUFA Disciplinary Panel and UPL’s position regarding the abandoned tie, which was initially affected by the former league boycott.
Vipers’ campaign has already been marked by multiple postponements. Their season opener against SC Villa was called off due to CAF Champions League commitments, while subsequent clashes with Kitara, UPDF, and Calvary FC were also disrupted by continental duties and league restructuring.
However, the champions now have a clearer schedule following the latest UPL communication, with key fixtures confirmed as follows:

Vipers SC vs Maroons FC will now take place on Saturday, 22 Nov 2025 (8:00 PM) at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
