Team Uganda is ready for the 2025 Uganda Open International Squash Championship that will take place at Rocke Classic Hotel in Tororo, Eastern Uganda.
The tournament will run from February 16th – 22th, 2025 were players from different parts of world will show case their talents in categories including Junior, men and women.
Squash players from Uganda (hosts), Tanzania, Zambia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Rwanda, Ghana, Zanzibar, Nigeria and India will take part in this tournament. Over 100 squash players confirmed participation in this year’s edition.
Juicy Cash prizes is at stake for outstanding players in the tournament from quarter final stage where the best male and female players will each pocket USD 6,300 and every winner will walk way with trophies.
The Rock Classic Hotel–Tororo manager expressed confidence in their preparations to host a successful championship.
“Everything is fully in place to have a successful 2025 Uganda International Open Squash Tournament. From the playing courts, seating arrangements, accommodation, meals, swimming pool, and security, everything is set. We promise a very successful championship,” he assured.
