The Site Monthly Sports Awards has announced Isaac Kasasa as the winner of the Boxer of the Month for June. Kasasa, a light middleweight boxer from Katabi Boxing Club, was recognized for his outstanding performance in the month of June.
Kasasa’s impressive win over Serugo Bashir from Lukanga Boxing Club in the Champions League week five earned him the award. He beat out other top boxers, including Farahat Mainlroo, Mawanda Depark, Brenda Muduwa, Michael Kasamba, and Imran Kayemba, to take home the accolade and cash prize sponsored by Wide Tours International.
After receiving his award, Kasasa expressed his delight, saying, “It’s my pleasure to win this accolade, my first time to be here, but this has been part of my dream. I believe it’s the start for me to win more accolades, and I’m also eyeing bigger awards.”
The Site Monthly Awards were introduced to recognize the best sporting individuals of the month in different disciplines.
