The 2026 Sports Outreach Resurrection Soccer Cup climaxed successfully at Sports Outreach ministries Playground in Kiwawu at Mityina road on Friday evening, 3rd April 2026 were Broadway primary school shine brightest winning the U13 boys trophy and U10 boys football trophy.
Three finals were played in the U-10, U-13 and U-15 age catergories, individual medals and Accolades were given to the various top scorers MVP Best Goal keeper and Displinclined player in the different age groups.

U13 Category
On Cold rainy day evening U13 finals Broadway primary school put up with hard-fought 2-1 Victory against Amogu primary school to defend their title.

U10 Category
In the U10 category Muwagunzi Denis’s coached side required a tense and dramatic shoot out 3-2 victory over Joy Primary School after normal time had ended one -one to defend the Under 10 Trophy .
A capacity and passionate cheering crowd witnessed an end to end affair in normal time on world class sports facility in Kiwawu, Mityina.

U15 Category
In another dramatic U15 finals Som chess academy affairs between Som Christian sports Academy against Som Gulu ended 1-1 in the normal time, were Som Christian Sports Academy emerged the winners in the penalities 3-2 at sports outreach stadium in Kiwawu.
The region features numerous academies and Schools featured in this year’s tournament such as Mungu primary school, Home of promise Soccer Academy Som Christian Sports Academy Broadway primary school, Joy Primary School,Amogu primary school Som Puguni P/S Gulu and Som Kolo P/S Gulu which compete in tournaments designed to showcase local youth talent.

Robert Katende, the proprietor of Sports Outreach Resurrection Cup, applauded the effort of all the team managers, coaches, referees, players, media and the organizing committee to have a successful event.
“I want to thank the entire organizing team that has made this tournament a success. The team managers, coaches, referees, players, media and everybody, I say thank you. We shall have this event organized annually” Katende remarked.
“We started this initiative to nature and promote talents across the country and we will continued support towards this work of restoring hope and transforming lives,” he Added .
