Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally set to thrill with over 300km of racing

The Eastern Motor Club (EMC) has released the itinerary for the fourth round of the Uganda National Rally Championship, to be held on July 10-12 in Jinja and Kayunga. The Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally, sponsored by Ntenjeru South MP, Amos Lugoloobi and Stabex fueling company, will cover over 300 km of distance.

Day 1: July 11

The first day will feature 111.74 km of rally program, with 66.26 km of competitive stages. The stages include:

  • Segamu 14 Consult (18.90 km)
  • KCB Bank (25 km)
  • Nile River (8.72 km), it will also be run as the night section
  • IUEA Super Special Stage (2.46 km of two lanes run twice)

Day 2: July 12

The second day will feature 175.72 km of rally program, with 88.20 km of competitive stages. The stages include:

  • Stabex Stage (15 km, repeated twice and also serving as the Power Stage)
  • Hon. Lugoloobi Stage (21.60 km, repeated twice)

CSR Activities

The event will also feature three CSR activities, including tree planting in Jinja and Kayunga, as well as blood donation.

Current NRC Standings

The 2025 National Rally Championship is currently led by Ronald Ssebuguzi with 142 points, followed closely by Musa Ssegaabwe (132.5 points) and Ponsiano Lwakataka (117 points). The rally promises to be an exciting event, with drivers competing on challenging roads and vying for crucial points in the championship.
