The Eastern Giants captain George Kasonko have returned to full fitness ahead of the Uganda premier league Matchday twenty four clash against Police Fc.

BUL FC will face Police FC this today Wednesday afternoon at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

The Eastern Giants are boosted by the return of captain Kasonko from suspension. However, they will be without first-choice goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa, who is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards. John Okurut is set to deputize him in goal. Reagan Kalyowa and Jeromy Kirya will also miss the tie due to minor injuries.

BUL, lies third with 42 points and are unbeaten in the second round. They won the last game 2-1 win against KCCA.

In their 19 previous league meeting since BUL gained promotion in 2012, BUL has 10 wins, lost 5 with 4 draws against Police.

Matia Lule’s Police, fresh from a 2-0 win over Mbarara City, sit 12th with 26 points and are eager to disrupt BUL’s momentum.

Cops will be with out midfielder Daniel Otto alhough he’s back in training but will not feature in the Njeru clash. Adewale Bojo, Steven Kabuye, Edward Kasibante, and Reagan Matege have resumed light training but remain doubtful. Forward Brian Obedi is ruled out due to academic commitments.

The reverse fixture between the two teams ended goalless in Kavumba, but this time, BUL will fancy their chances at home in Njeru.
