From injury direct to national team fold, AC Citadella’s defender Elio Capradossi has surprisingly joined national team camp in Cairo, Egypt ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers game.
Initially, Capradossi was not summoned last week on Monday due to an ankle injury he sustained in the 27th minute of the game his club lost (2-0) to Modena. He was then substituted in the 29th minute and went on to miss two games before returning to bench in weekend’s 2-1 loss to Sassuolo.

Capradossi, made his debut last year against Botswana. He missed South Sudan home and away games, plus South Africa and Congo games.
His appearance in the Cranes camp confirms availability for selection for either Mozambique or Guinea game.
