The 2025 Buganda Schools Competitions Climax over the weekend at Kawanda SS were Wampeewo Ntake SS and Mbogo mixed Schools Crowned the Winners of Boys and Girls Buganda handball Category.
The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Owek.Cotilda Nakatte Kikomeko who represented the katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga and the Buganda Minister for Youth, Sports, and Arts, Owek. Robert Serwanga and Commissioner of physical education and Sports Rev.Can Dr. Duncans Mugumya among others.

The Mbogo High School won the Buganda Schools Competitions Handball women category after beating the Hosts Kawanda SS ( 17-30) to win this year’s title.
Mugutimu Sylvia are student from Mbogo mixed ss put up impressive Performance through out the tournament and was named the most valuable player .
In the Men’s category, Wampeewo Ntake SS were crowned Champions after overcome Mbogo mixed in the Finals 15–30 and Patrick Odur of Wampeewo Ntakke were recognized as the MVP .
