Chandiga Ceasar and Naiga Rukia have been crowned the 2025 Adi’s Spot Arena New Year pool Championship.
Chandiga emerged victorious in the Men’s finals after defeating Zambia’s Kelvin Nkandu 9-4.
Chandiga dominated the match, showcasing his exceptional skill with four break-and-finish plays. Kelvin Nkandu put up a good fight, but ultimately couldn’t match Chandiga’s pace.
The Ugandan champion’s impressive performance earned him the top spot on the podium, solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with in Uganda and the world of pool.
The tournament organizers and fans congratulated Ceasar on his well-deserved win and praised Kelvin Nkandu for his remarkable gameplay.

In the ladies category, former national champion, Naiga Rukia proved beyond reasonable doubt that she deserved the championship beating Nimusiima Ritah 5 – 3 in the final.
