Coach Jeremiah Mukopi expressed confidence in the squad, confirming only one injury setback (middle blocker) Ian Lunalo, who will miss out after being ruled out for four weeks.

He also welcomed the arrival of Ugandan receiver-attacker Cosmas Apunyo Elijah (KCCA), who joined Chema VC after the NSSF KAVC International Tournament.

“Our focus is to reinforce reception, and Cosmas has brought in that extra stability we needed,” said Mukopi.

Chema VC shifts its focus from preparation to competition, as this is their third preseason tournament ahead of the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League season 2025/26, which is scheduled to serve off from 6 to 9 November at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.
