Cole World and St Noa were crowned the winners of the inaugural Mountain Dew UG3x3 Nationwide Series that climax yesterday Saturday at Hockey grounds Lugogo.
Cole World beat team VBL (16-14) in the final of the Men’s category to walk away with the trophy and prize money of UGX 2,000,000 while the runners up took home UGX 1,000,000.
On Another side St Noa ladies beat team 3-Peat (16-11) in the final of the ladies category to walk away with the trophy and prize money of UGX 2,000,000. Like in the men’s the runners up here also took home UGX 1,000,000.
The inaugural mountain Dew 3×3 nationwide series had 139 teams participating across the 7 stops with 94 for men and 39 (women’s teams). 12 men’s and 8 ladies’ teams qualified for the yesterday Grand Finale in Lugogo.
