Soltilo Bright Stars 1-2 Vipers SC

The Six times Uganda premier league Champions, Vipers Sports Club moved to the top of the table after a 1-2 win over Bright stars at Kavumba Recreation grounds on Saturday evening.
Vipers put up a strong show of absolute dominion in the first half. Strikes from striker Gusto Mulongo and Magician Allan Okello were enough to give the Venoms returned to winning ways while Bright stars scored conciliation through Warren Bule .
The Venoms broke the deadlock as the goalkeeper fumbles a corner from Karim Watambala but striker Gusto Mulongo headed into the back of the net after a mix up in the defence on the 15th minutes of the game.
Milton Karisa and Karim Watambala involved in plenty of the action to the excellent team move, finished off in style by Magician Allan Okello in the 20th minutes to make 2-0 lead in Kavumba.
Before the break, Milton Karisa and Moses Waiswa were both denied opportunities to stretch the lead by Soltilo Bright Stars goalkeeper Shamulan Kamya.
At the start of second half in the 50th minutes Bright Stars hit the woodwork. Bunjo cuts through the Venoms midfield with a run, sets up Nelson Senkatuka but strikes far upright with his shot.

Ten minutes Later Soltilo 77 Stars FC Scored conciliation from Defender Warren Buule to end first half 1-2 at Kavumba recreation grounds.
Moses Waiswa robs Bunjo of possession and gets a shot away from a tight angle, but Shamulan Kamya saved again.
Hillary Mukudane was the Vipersxg fans man of match after his impressive performance against the Kavumba based side .
The visitors held on in the closing stages to claim all three points and move top of the log on 24 points while Soltilo Bright Stars remain on the bottom of the table with 6 points.
In the next game, Viper’s will welcome BUL at St Mary’s stadium kitende on Saturday 14th 2024 while Bright stars will be away against NEC on Wednesday 11th December.
