Bright Stars’ relegation struggle was dealt with a big blow after losing 1-0 to Express FC in the Uganda Premier League matchday twenty six encounter played at Kavumba Recreation playgrounds.
Daniel Shabena scored Red Eagle’s winner in the 55th minute of the game to dent Bright Stars’ hopes of survival going into the last four league matches.
The Kavumba based side suffered the sixteen loss of the season having won three and drawn seven in twenty six league matches.
Red Eagles are currently 9th on the table with 36 points while Bright Stars is 15th with 16 points.
Express FC will host Kitara FC while Bright Stars will lock horns with UPDF FC in the next fixtures.
