Ugandan striker Edirisa ‘Torres’ Lubega has joined Germany sixth-tier side club SpVgg Osterhofen. He joins as a free agent and has penned down two years employment contract that will see him at the club until June 30 2026.

The 26-year old played for Estonia’s Paide Linnameeskond and scored 14 goals making him the club’s second best scorer of the season after Rauno Sappinen.

Lubega started his professional career at Proline FC in 2017 before playing for AC Floridsdorfer and SV Ried in Austria on loan. Its from here he left for Estonia’s Paide from 2020 to 2022. Paide which had signed him permanently, loaned him to FK Pribram from Czech Republic and Portugal’s Estrela Amadora.

He made his senior international debut on 27 January 2016, coming on as a 79th minute substitute for Erisa Ssekisambu in a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in the African Nations Championship Group Stages

The former Dynamic SS forward came with a lot experience and expressed his feeling to Rora Media after finding new home.

“I am happy to join the Orsterhofen in German. I am not under any pressure and I expect to continue working hard to maintain my good run. I want to continue scoring goals (with the help of my teammates) as we target promotion. We are focused and working as a complete unit,” he said.
