Outgoing Express FC head coach Kaddu Badru Mukasa signed off in emphatic fashion as his side thrashed Mbarara City 4-1 in their Uganda Premier League encounter played at the Hamz Stadium.

In what turned out to be a fitting farewell performance, the Red Eagles were relentless from the start, showcasing the attacking flair that has defined Kaddu’s tenure. Rashid Kawawa opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a fine finish before Richard Basangwa doubled the lead midway through the first half.
Ssenoga Kagawa turned on the style, netting twice — first on the stroke of halftime and again in the 67th minute to cap a commanding display from the Wankulukuku-based side.

Mbarara City’s Gabriel Eragu grabbed a consolation goal in the 71st minute, but it did little to change the tide of a one-sided affair.
The result not only gave Express a morale-boosting victory but also served as a memorable send-off for Kaddu, who now departs to take up a new challenge as head coach of NEC FC.
