Express FC resumes their second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier league as they will be hosting BUL FC today evening.
Express will be without Rashid Kawawa who is sidelined with an injury and the experienced midfielder Ramsey Kawooya who is on loan from BUL.
Express FC ended the first round of the league with two consecutive wins against Bright Stars (2-1) and UPDF FC (0-2). They are much desperate to continue pushing for glory.
Meanwhile BUL FC who drew three times, won once and lost once in their last 5 games in the first round will be eyeing for a good start.
New BUL signing Vianne Ssekajugo and Karim Ndugwa are set to make their debut while Richard Okello is also ready for selection.
Express FC’s Coach Badru Kaddu says that, “Our target is to finish in the top four positions and we can only achieve that by winning matches.”
“I call upon all fans to show up as we play BUL to cheer us in order to get maximum points,”.
Express FC’s captain Emmanuel Wasswa knows how important this fixture is for the club that wants to start the second round on a high gear.
“As players, we are well prepared and have no injuries to worry about, We want to start the second round on a high and the BUL game is very important.”
The first round of the fixture saw both teams pick up a point after a 1-1 draw with Nicholas Mwere scoring for BUL FC and Samuel Ssenyonjo scoring late for Express FC.
In the last four meetings where both teams have met, BUL remain unbeaten after winning two and drawing two.
