Maroons FC 1-1 Bright stars FC
The Najjembe based side has returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over police in their Uganda Premier League encounter today, Wednesday evening at Najjembe Stadium.
The second half goal gave the leaders three points in the 70th minute of the game. The goal was from the spot kick taken by danger man, Abdul Kalanzi.
The victory put Lugazi to eleventh place with 17 points, while Police remain in 10th place with just 18 points from 16 games.
In the next game Police FC will host NEC FC on Sunday 16th February at Kavumba recreation ground while Lugazi FC will host Wakiso Giants on Sunday at Najjembe stadium.

In other Uganda Premier League clash, Maroons and Bright Stars settled for a point after a 1-1 draw at the Luzira maximum prison stadium.
Maroons broke dreadlocks through Felix Okot in the 54th minute of the game while defender Warren Bule scored consolation in the 78th minute for Soltilo Bright Stars FC.
