Management of Gomba Ssaza has completed sharp shooter, Robert Ssewanyana as their second signing of the season after acquisition of midfielder Michael Abura.
The announcement was made today, Friday, May 30, 2025 via their official social media platforms.
Last year, Ssewanyana played for Buluuri Ssaza was their team captain. He scored seven goals in the last year’s edition and also scored 15 goals in the 2024-25 Buganda Region League for his side UWA Football Club.
Five time champions Gomba are placed in Bulange group alongside reigning champions Buddu, Busiro, Buluuli, Busujju and Ssese.
Record Winners Gomba will lockhorn reigning Buganda Masaza Cup football champions Buddu in the masaza Cup opener on Saturday 21st June 2025 at the Kitovu Sports Arena in Masaka.
