K’Ogalo currently sit top of the league table with 43 points, six ahead of arch-rivals AFC Leopards, who are second on 37 points with a game in hand.

Gor Mahia have declared their intention to go full throttle in pursuit of a domestic double this season, setting their sights not only on the league title but also on lifting the 2026 FKF Cup.

Record champions Gor Mahia will take on giant killers BB Bread in a round of 32 draw featuring a host of intriguing Kenya Premier League versus lower-league matchups.

The fifth-tier outside knocked out top-tier side AFC Leopards with a 4-3 win in a penalty shootout, and they will be hoping to script yet another upset when they face K’Ogalo.

Gor Mahia’s Administrative Manager Ronald Ngala has welcomed the challenge of facing the tournament’s most talked-about underdog following the official draw for the 2026 FKF Cup Round of 32 concluded at the Kasarani Stadium on Thursday.

The match is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of March 7–8 with the venue to be officially confirmed by the federation in the coming days.

For Gor Mahia, this year’s campaign is fuelled by the heartbreak of the previous season. After falling short in the 2025 final against Nairobi United, the club is prioritizing the FKF Cup to secure a return to continental football.
