Holders Kitara Face two times champions Vipers Sc as Semifinal Draw for Stanbic Uganda Cup is Unveiled.
The draw for the semifinals of the 2024/25 Stanbic Uganda Cup was held at the Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala.

Vipers Sc who are also title contenders in the Startimes Uganda Premier League are looked at as one of the title hopefuls in the tournament while defending champions kitara will be looking for a silver ware this season .
Vipers SC booked their place in the semi-finals after edging nine-time champions SC Villa, while Kitara FC secured their spot thanks to a late strike by Arthur Kiggundu that saw them overcome BUL FC.
In the other fixture, the Fufa big league side Kataka Fc will face off against the Lugogo-based Kcca FC. Kataka Fc FC secured their place in the semis by overcoming URA FC while KCCA FC clinched a convincing victory over Kaaro Karungi FC to make it to the semis.

The semifinal matches are scheduled to be played over two legs, with the initial fixtures slated for May 3rd and 4th, with the return legs set for May 17th and 18th.
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations federation also confirmed the venue for the final of the 51st edition of the competition will be played at the newly constructed Kadiba Stadium.

Kadiba Stadium construction began in 2018 at the land that was offered to FUFA by Namirembe Cathedral.
