Teen cranes 2-0 Kenya Junior Starlets
The Junior Starlets has edged Teen Cranes 2-0 in the first round clash played at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on Saturday evening.
The two first half goals from Edinah Nasipwondi and Joan Ogola guided the Junior Starlets to three priceless points to take first leg advantage of the 2025 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The first goal came in 37th minute of game through defender Edinah Nasipwondi.
Later in the first half added minutes, Kenya doubled the lead through Joan Ogola with sensational pass from Lindey Weey Atieno which eventually gave the visitors victory.
The return leg will take place on Sunday, March 16th in Nariobi.
