The Fortebet Real Stars monthly awards for February 2025 were held on Tuesday, March 3rd at Lazio Bar and Resultant in Lugogo.
Three sports personalities were rewarded in the different disciplines of Cricket, Basketball, and Football .
The different winners were; Abdul Kalanzi (Football), Juma Miyaji (Cricket), and Jane Asinde (Basketball) .

Jane Asinde won in the Basketball category after an outstanding performance showed during the Africa zone five Qualifies held in Egypt where Uganda Qualifies for Afrobasket.
Asinde averaged 18.8 points, scoring 19 in the final, 10 rebounds and 4.8 assists and captained her Uganda Gazelles to a 74-63 victory over hosts Egypt, sealing the East Africans’ ticket to this year’s Women’s AfroBasket.
The 25-year-old was also named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and best power forward.She beat off competition from teammates;Shillah Lamunu and John Deng Geu to walk way with the award.

In Cricket category Juma Miyaji won gong for February after being the first pace bowler, led Uganda to another unbeaten streak in the second round of the just concluded ICC Challenge Lesgue B Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Hong Kong.By
He was the standout bowler for the Uganda Cricket Cranes in Hong Kong during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League B in February 2025 and Miyaji was named Player of the Match after taking 6 wickets for 17 runs in 8.1 overs against Tanzania.

The youngster picked up a total of 12 wickets, the most in the tournament from 123 balls, 6 against Tanzania from 17 balls, 4 against Bahrain from 52 balls and 2 against Hong Kong from 54 balls. He defeated cricket cranes teammates Henry Ssenyondo and Raghav Dhawan

In Football category Lugazi Fc talented striker put out the impressive performance in the month of February to won the ward.
The Lugazi striker finished the month of February with 4 goals in 4 games.
Two from the Uganda Premier League and Two from the Uganda Cup.
Currently, Lugazi seats 11th in the Uganda Premier League with 20 points, and the Mabira side qualified for the last 16 of the Uganda Cup after beating Calvary 2-0 and Kalanzi was on the scoresheet.

He beat off Uganda cranes superstars kitara’s Patrick Kaddu and Viper’s Star boy Allan Okello.
