The record Uganda cup champions Express FC will make the long trip to Yumbe in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 encounter against Total FC this evening
The Red eagles will miss out three key players include the captain Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, winger Richard Basangwa, striker Sam Ssenyonjo and defender Derrick Ngoobi are all ruled out due to injuries.
Kaddu acknowledged the team’s recent struggles but remained optimistic about their chances of turning things around. “We are still recovering from the previous game, but our physios are ensuring the players are in peak condition ahead of Yumbe fc” Badru Kaddu stated.
“The squad is mentally prepared and eager to compete. While results haven’t gone our way, we believe we will get it right soon.”
The Red Eagles, who share the record for most Uganda Cup titles (10), secured their spot in this round with a narrow 1-0 victory over Red Devo.
