The Mountain Dew National Motocross championship round two has been launched today with riders vowing to show up big fight not only for championship points but also for places at the MX Cranes.
The event is scheduled for March 2nd at Victoria Raceway Truck in Garuga.
According to the FMU deputy vice president in charge of motorcross, Arthur Blick Junior, this round will be used to select riders who will represent Uganda in the FIM Africa Central Africa Motocross Championship round one slated to take place in Uganda.

“Our goal this year is to win the FIM Africa Motorcross of Africa Nations (MXoAN) which will be in Kenya. We finished second last year but all our plans are to bring it home this year. Masaka was good from the riders’ performance to the officials. We still hope for the best from Garuga because we are going to use performances from there to select the national team for CAC event,” Blick said.

The event’s manager, Abdu Kateete said that, “The truck is almost ready. We are finalising with a few things on its upgrading. About 80 riders have so far shown interest in taking part in this event.”
