The Kampala University Woodball Stars are geared up to represent Uganda at the 5th Taifa International Woodball Open Championship in Nairobi, Kenya, from June 28th to 30th, 2025. The team, comprising 12 talented players, is eager to make a mark in this prestigious tournament.

A Historic Moment

This marks the team’s first participation in the Taifa International Woodball Open, and they are determined to give their best performance. Despite being a relatively new team, established in December 2023, players have already made history by becoming Champions of the East Africa University Games held at Maseno University in 2024.

Team Confidence

With a team of experienced players, they are confident of putting up strong performances and making their university and country proud. The team has received financial support from the university management, which has boosted their morale and preparedness for the championship.

The Kampala University Woodball Stars are ready to take on the best teams in the region and showcase their skills in both stroke and fairway games.
