Kitara Football Club, based in Hoima, has officially announced their squad and staff to Kenya for international friendly against Gor-Mahia .
This encounter, which is eagerly anticipated, is scheduled on Thursday 2nd 2025 January and it will be played at grand opening of the Siaya Country Stadium in western Kenya.
The Siaya County Stadium which has a capacity of 20,000, is expected to be opened by Kenyan President William Ruto alongside Ugandan president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

This will be Kitara’s second international friendly against a Kenyan team having lost 1-0 to Tusker FC in Masindi in August this year.
This year’s Piny Luo festival (an annual event to celebrate the Luo community) will be the fourth edition to be held in Siaya County.
The Royals who were invited for the event earlier this month are expected to travel to Siaya in Western Kenya on Monday for the three-day celebrations.
Aside sports, other activities to be showcased during the event include traditional food, music among many others.

The squad traveling to Kenya is a well-balanced mix of seasoned professionals and promising young talents, all eager to prove their mettle on the international stage.
