Uganda Premier League action lit up Hoima and Kiira Road on Tuesday as Kitara FC and BUL FC registered crucial victories to shake up the table standings.
At Royal Park in Hoima, Kitara FC defeated UPPC FC 2-0 in a commanding display. After a tightly contested first half, Gadafi Wahab broke the deadlock in the 44th minute, powering home a header off Patrick Kaddu’s delivery to give the hosts a deserved lead at the break.

Kitara maintained control after restart and sealed the victory in the 83rd minute when Living Kabon headed in from Edson Agondeze’s assist to put the result beyond doubt.
The win propelled Kitara to the summit with 39 points, opening a five-point cushion over fifth-placed UPPC FC.

Meanwhile at the Kiira road play ground, BUL FC stunned Police FC with a clinical 2-0 away triumph. After a goalless first half, Ibrahim Orit struck just after the hour mark to hand BUL the advantage. The forward later completed his brace in stoppage time, finishing off a swift counterattack to wrap up the points.
Police pushed for a response, but despite creating several chances and forcing saves, they failed to find the breakthrough.
The victory lifted BUL FC to eighth place with 23 points, while Police remain sixth with 32 points.
