NEC FC will be hoping to continue with it’s impressive performance as it visits Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club this evening at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
Husien Mbalangu’s boys seek for maximum points after defeating SC Villa in their last encounter in Uganda Premier League match day nine.
During the brief with Rora Media, Mbalangu stated that “We are ready Villa is done, and now we’re focused to face URA at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo. We are very ready, and even the boys are eager to fight for victory.”
“What we’ve been emphasizing to the boys is to be ready for every game, to avoid complacency. They have so far done it very well because now they play every game as if it is a final. We know how we’ve flopped in some games due to complacency, but now the ball is in our court, and they’ve implemented what we’ve told them.”
“We are trying to reflect on our last encounter last season. We played them at home under Coach Obua, and in the second round, they had Coach Mukasa. Now we are going to face another coach, (Alex Isabirye), who is a very good and tactical one.”
NEC will miss some players like Joseph Dhata, Barni, and Amir Kakomo all having injury and other two in Bayiga and Odongo on suspensions for accumulating three yellow cards.
Cromwel Rwothomio is back after slight injury in SC Villa game and he’s ready to face his former employers.
