Uganda’s netball national team, the She Cranes has this morning flew out aboard Uganda Airlines for the 2024 Africa Netball Cup in Namibia.
Namibia’s city of Swakopmund Municipality will stage the 2024 Africa Netball cup running from 9th to 14th December 2024 .
After great performance at the Fast 5 Series finishing third place at the tournament, She Cranes is desperate for a good show in Namibia.

The She Cranes has been training at Hamz stadium (Nakivubo) and Lugogo Indoor Arena under coaches Nelson Bogere and Nourredine Kato. The team had a contingent of 14 players and five officials
Nine countries will be competing in this championship. They include Namibia (Hosts), Uganda, South Africa, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Meanwhile, the championship will also have men’s category with countries like the hosts Namibia, Burundi, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe all participating.
