Simba’s deadly trio, Ellie Mpanzu, Jean Ahoua, and Ugandan Steven Mukwala continues to command the Tanzanian Premier League’s marksmanship race as their goals helped their team to beat Dodoma Jiji 5-0 at KMC Stadium in Dar es Salaam this evening.

Mukwala thrilled fans through his scorpion kick’s goal, which is likely to be among his best this season.

Simba have reduced their gap with leaders Young Africans to a point following their 6-0 victory over Dodoma Jiji in their Premier League match stage this evening at KMC Stadium in Dar es Salaam

The defending champions were 4-point superior to Simba before today’s game.

Simba have now bagged 57 points from 22-game onslaught as Khalid Aucho’s Yanga still enjoy the pilot seat with 58 points, also from their 22-game outing.

Ellie Mpanzu seems to Simba’s brightest star in terms of marksmanship as he netted his team’s opener early in the 16th minute.

Five minutes later in the 21st minute,  Simba doubled their lead when Jean Ahoua scored the team’s second goal.

Just a few seconds before the end of the first half, Ahoua scored Simba’s third goal that earned Simba a 3-0 lead at the breather.

The second half saw Simba coming back with determination to score more goal, and their efforts paid off just two minutes after the restart through Ugandan international Steven Mukwala.

In the 58th minute, Simba netted their 5th goal through Kibu Dennis from Mpanzu’s assist. Simba celebrated their 6th goal in the 67th minute through Kibu Dennis’ perfect finish.
