Uganda Badminton League climax yesterday at the Mbogo high schools in Kawempe. Meanwhile, Ndejje University won the professional category and S.H Badminton club won the cooperate Category.
Ndeje University started like house on fire as revived National Badminton super semifinals and finals hits off on Saturday at Mbogo high schools courts.
Ndeje put on impressive performance this year defeating CFK Patriots to storm their second consecutive finals. In the 3-in-1 package for the National Badminton super league finals against Mbogo high warriors they clinched their second league title.
Players Reagan Nsubuga and Eric Ofuyuru expressed their feelings to Rora Media after winning the title. Reflecting on the finals, ofuyuru stated, “I am very happy for our team delivering such a performance in the national super league finals and were strong mentally.”

Nsubuga expressed her joy and the culmination of her hard work for Ndejje university Badminton club, stating, “Today I can see that all our hard work has finally paid off, and I am extremely happy to be on the winning side by defeating Mbogo warriors. It was not easy, as we had to go to the limit in a deciding game, but I was thirsty for the win, and I pulled it off.”
The badminton league started in April in a bid to develop and scout more talents in the sport. The league was graced by corporates, schools, and institutional teams as well as clubs.
The Corporates League Season 2, on the other hand, will witness corporate entities including State House, Ministry of Works, and Equity Bank showcasing their prowess.
S.H Badminton club in the semifinals eliminates the badminton power house, Mbogo high corporates to storms the finals.
In the 2024 Cooperate Badminton final S.H Badminton club beat Equity Bank (3-1) to win their first ever Corporate league trophy. Last season, CFK Badminton Academy won the Corporate Category while Ndejje University won the professional category.
