NEC FC Staff and football community gathered for the highly anticipated end-of-season awards ceremony at the Silver Springs Hotel in Bugoloobi.
The glamorous event was graced by NEC FC top officials like Club Patron and Managing Director Of the National Enterprise Corporation, Lt .Gen James Mugira, Chairman and General Manager of NEC Works, Eng Brian Buhanda among others.

NEC FC’s custodian Hannnigton Ssebwalunyo and the talented midfield general Enock Ssebagala shined brightest at the ceremony.
Ssebagala was crowned the best midfielder of the season and players’ player of the season while Hannington Ssebwalunyo scooped the best Goal Keeper of the season and Fans’ players of the season.
The former Blessed Sacrament kimanya defender Jacob Akao was named the most valuable player of the season while Paul Mucurezi was the club’s best forward for the 2024-25 season.

NEC FC finished the season on high, unbeaten at home, losing only three fixtures in the entire season that came against the league champions, Vipers SC, Lugazi and Express FC. They finished with 67 points in the second position and earned their first continental slot.
They will represent Uganda in the CAF confederations Cup, season 2025/26, this is so because Vipers SC won a double, Premier League and Uganda Cup.
