Police Handball Women Club crowned the 42nd ECAHF Senior Club Championship winners in Rwanda

The Uganda National Police women Handball Club has been crowned the champions of the East and Central Africa Handball Federation (ECAHF) clubs championship after defeating Rwanda’s UOK (61-27) in the finals at Petit stade Mahoro indoor Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.

Police Handball Club won the championship in style as the only side unbeaten. Fourteen clubs from five countries participated in this year’s club championship in women and men category. Countries included; Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan and Burundi .

The Police Handball women Coach, Aziz Ayub praise her troops and the Uganda police leadership for continuous support, which is the foundation for their successful performance.

“The players were impressive throughout the tournament with a winning character built on the institutional support. It is a trophy for the club and Uganda National Police,” Ayub said.

On the men’s side, Kenya’s NCPB beat Rwanda’s Police HC (30-27) to crowned the winners of 42nd ECAHF Senior Club Championship.
