Get ready for high-octane excitement as the Rajiv Ruparelia Super Special Stage (SSS) ignites the Pece War Memorial Stadium. On Friday, October 10, 2025, at 3 PM, rally fans will witness breathtaking speed and intense head-to-head competition.
This special stage, a poignant tribute to the late Rajiv Ruparelia, features a thrilling 1.96km track that drivers will tackle twice. Spectators will have an unparalleled opportunity to see top-tier rally cars battle it out in close quarters.

The SSS holds a history of dramatic moments. In the 2024 CMC Gulu Rally, seasoned driver Ronald Sebuguzi (who now leads the championship), claimed victory on this very stage. His win was particularly significant as then championship leader Dr. Moustapha Mukasa faced a critical setback when his car failed to start the SSS, a major blow to his National Rally Championship (NRC) title aspirations. This opened a crucial window for rivals like Sebuguzi and Jas Mangat to advance their standings.
As the second last event of the National Rally Championship, Gulu Rally attracts Uganda’s elite drivers, including Ponsiano Lwakataka and Ronald Sebuguzi.
