Rally drivers will gather for the Autocross championship event in memory of Rajiv Ruparelia, a fellow driver who passed away earlier this month.

The event, organized by the United Motorsports Club (UMOSPOC) in conjunction with the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU), will take place at Mzuri Africa grounds in Namataba, Mukono district.
It will also honor Rehma Nalule, the late Peter Kalule’s wife, and Dr. Arthur Ahimbisibwe, a doctor for motorsport and motocross who was involved in an accident while returning from Lira where the MX fourth round that took place over the weekend.

Local drivers, including Ibrahim Lubega Passuwa and Samuel Bwete, are determined to win their respective categories.
According to UMOSPOC President Johnson Were, all participating drivers will receive free registration, and arrangements have been made to provide fuel for the competitors.
The Autocross championship marks the beginning of the season and was officially launched at Pearl Resort Hotel in Mukono.
