A 14-member team, MX Cranes, the Uganda motocross team will participate in the World Junior Motocross Championship in Romagne, France on July 7th.

The team consists of riders from different classes including: five riders in MX85cc (Miguel Katende, Jonathan Katende, Adam Kabuye, Isaac Mitima, Ethan Katek).

MX65cc category has 5 riders (Kyle Musedde, Ethan Musedde, Heyden Kaliisa, Ashraf Mbabazi, Larry Ssekamwa) as MX125cc holds 4 (Gift Ssebuguzi, Jason Barrows, Dam Mitima, Jerome Mubiru)

Jamirah Makumbi will stand by for any 65cc class rider who fails to meet requirements. This marks Uganda’s third participation in the event, following previous appearances in Romania (2023) and the Netherlands (2024).

In 2023 Gift Ssebuguzi and the Katende brothers; Miguel and Jonathan Katende participated with Miguel earning the only qualification Uganda holds in the event until now. Last year Uganda sent eight riders.
