Winger Birungi Alvin Twiine has extended his stay at the Najjembe based side Lugazi FC. He had signed five years until January 2030.
His current contract with the club was due to expire at the end of this month.
Birungi joined the Leaders in September 2023 as a 17 year old and the club is pleased with his rapid development as a player.
In the current campaign, he has shown glimpses of a great player, driving the team forward artfully, haunting defenders and causing chaos in the opponent’s half at will. As a result, he has made two assists from nine appearances, in all competitions.
Recently the Najjembe based side has acquired the service of versatile midfielder Hussein Ssenoga as Uganda premier league second Round sets to return .
