Cricket Cranes squad for 2nd ICC Chaallenge League B announced

Cricket Cranes squad to compete in the second crucial ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League B has been announced. The tournament is set to take place in Hong Kong, China and it will run from February 4-16th 2025.

The squad consists of 14 players and two reserves only two players including the vice-captain to Brian Masaba and the former U-19 Captain Pascal Murungi who were part of the squad for ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League B in Uganda at Cricket Oval and Entebbe Oval are out this time round.

Uganda Cricket Cranes secured the top spot in the tournament, accumulating nine points and a net run rate of 2.874 at the first phase of the ICC Challenge League B hosted by Uganda Cricket Association (UCA).

Italy finished second with seven points and a net run rate of 2.237, while Hong Kong China claimed the third position with seven points and a negative net run rate of 0.535.

The Challenge League B tournament is a pathway to the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup which will be hosted in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
