This Monday morning at Kansai Plascon Headquarters in Kampala the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter-finals draws have been conducted.
In a highly anticipated draw, the three times Uganda Cup champions, Vipers SC and the nine times cup champions SC Villa have found themselves pitted against each other as the vemons are eyeing for the double.
The draw also features an all-Uganda Premier League showdown between holders, Kitara and the Eastern Giants, BUL FC while KCCA FC will travel to Kaaro Karungi seeking to assert their dominance once again.
In other games, Police will face the FUFA Big League side, Kataka FC. The games are scheduled to take place between April 18-22nd, as they offer fans thrilling action with extra time and penalties if necessary to determine the winners.
Speaking at ceremony, the Plascon managing director, Mr. Santosh Gumte reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to the development of sports in Uganda.
He emphasized the power of sports in uniting communities and providing opportunities especially for smaller teams to shine on a national stage.
