Sc Villa were 3-0 winners over Seeta United in Stanbic Uganda Cup around of 64 held at St Luke Church of Uganda playground.
In the opening minutes of the game, SC Villa had most of the possession and kept asking questions to the hosts’ backline.
Strikes from Aslam Semakula, Patrick Jonah Kakande and Arnold Odongo on Thursday sunk Seeta United as Villa advanced to the Uganda Cup around of 32.
Ssemakula broke dreadlocks in the third minute of the game to give visitors first half time lead.
Nine minutes after restart of the second half, Hassan Mubiru was fouled after a good drive into the box only for Jonah kakande to step up and put the penalty in.
Sc Villa defender Arnold Odongo from injury sealed the win with a thunderous header in the 75th minute off a Hassan Mubiru well weighed in corner kick.
With this victory, the Jogoos join a growing list of teams in the round of 32 including; Simba, CATDA, Pakwach Young Stars, Police FC, Mbarara City, Lugazi FC, Wakiso Giants, URA FC, UPDF FC, Maroons, Soltilo Bright Stars, Gaddafi FC, defending champions Kitara FC, last year’s finalists NEC FC, Express FC, BUL FC and Vipers SC.
On another side Kisoro Young Simba were defeated by fufa big league side Kataka 2-0 at Sseseme playground.
