SC Villa 3-1 Mbale Heroes
SC Villa secured a well deserved 3-1 victory against wounded Mbale Heroes in the Startime’s Uganda premier league matchday twenty three on Thursday evening.
Simon Semayange, Samson Kasozi (own goal) and Patrick Jonah Kakande were on target for the defending as they claimed maximum points.
Semayange put the hosts in the lead as early as just the twenty seven minutes of the game with a header from corner crossed by David Owori.

Three minutes after second half restart, the fumbling in the Mbale Heroes defense led to an own goal as Samson Kasozi scored in the 48th minute of the game.
In the 76th minute Robert Eseru scored a consolation for the visitors with a pass from Kibirango Herbert.
Kakande put the icing on the cake in the 85th minute as he guided home Ashiraf Mulindi’s delivery from the right flank.
The Surgeons suffered their fourth consecutive loss following (1-0) defeated against Wakiso Gaints, (3-2) defeated to URA FC, (3-1) to Lugazi and were humiliated by KCCA FC (5-0).

SC Villa are 8th placed on Uganda premier league table with 33 points in twenty three matches while Mbale Heroes are the last team on the red zone with 10 points in twenty three matches.
In the next matches the defending champions SC Villa will visit Mbarara City on Wednesday 16th 2025 at Kakyeka stadium while Mbale Heroes will hosts the Red Eagles on Wednesday 16th at Mbale municipal stadium.
