She Gladiators ready to make history in 2nd Kabaddi Women World Cup

The Uganda Kabaddi Federation has announced the 15-member squad for the She Gladiators, Uganda’s women’s national kabaddi team, ahead of the 2nd Kabaddi Women World Cup in India.

The team is led by coach Nsibambi John and assisted by experienced coach Makubuya Ephraim.

The She Gladiators squad is composed of experienced players, including: Nalubega Olivia (Eaglets Kabaddi Club), Naggawa Dorothy (Kyandodo SS), Ojil Grace (Kyambogo College), Kirembe Shirat (Kyandodo SS), Zalwago Jeminah (St. Barnabus College), Nattabi Erinnah (Kyandodo SS), Nakayongo Shirat (Matugga High School), Kisakye Sarah (Kololo High School), Nankumba Rose (St. Barnabus College), Lubanga Joviata (St. Barnabus College), Nalwogae Nahia (St. Barnabus College), Awori Eunice (St. Barnabus College), Nanono Sharifah (Titanic Kabaddi Club), Kiyimba Shanzmin (Kyandodo SS) and Namuleme Waludah (Mulusa Academy).

The She Gladiators recently reaffirmed their supremacy in African Kabaddi by successfully defending their title at the Africa Kabaddi Women’s Cup. They beat Zanzibar 34-18 in the final, solidifying their impressive performance.

The 2nd Kabaddi Women World Cup will take place in Hyderabad, India from August 3rd to 8th, 2025. The She Gladiators are ready to make history and represent Uganda with pride. With their recent success and talented squad, they are poised to make a strong impression on the international kabaddi stage.
