Vipers SC, the reigning Uganda Premier League champions, has officially unveiled Enock Ssebagala as their second signing.

The 24-year-old versatile midfielder joins the club from NEC FC, where he had a standout season, guiding them to a second-place finish in the Uganda Premier League last season.

During the recently concluded season, Ssebagala made 26 appearances across the league and Uganda Cup, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

In league action alone, he featured in 20 matches, netting three goals and registering four assists. His creative and attacking prowess in midfield has earned him recognition, and he has already made his senior debut for the Uganda Cranes.

Ssebagala featured in the one-all draw against The Gambia in a friendly match earlier this year and is part of the Uganda Cranes squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in August.

Ssebagala has signed a two-year contract with Vipers SC after his contract with NEC FC expired, making him a free agent. He becomes the club’s second signing of the transfer window, following the arrival of Liberian striker Mark Yallah.
