The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC), in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity, has graduated 37 students who successfully completed the Sports Administration Course (SAC) and Advanced Sports Administration Course.
The graduation ceremony was held on February 14, 2025, at the Uganda Olympic Committee Gardens and was presided over by UOC President, Dr. Donald Rukare.

Uganda Squash head coach Kawooya Michael and Joweria Mpomba happened to be among the graduates.
Kawooya expressed his excitement noting that, “Iam excited to complete my Sports Administration Course (SAC) and look forward for a bright future in squash development in Uganda.”

“This is a dream come true. My next step is to apply for the Advanced Diploma in Sports Management in March 2025,” Kawooya told Rora media.
Joweria Mpomba speaking after completing her Sports Administration Course (SAC) said, “It’s a great feeling and honour for me to complete my certificate in Sports Administration Course (SAC) and ready to promote sports in Uganda.”
The 37 participants (35 men and 2 women) were drawn from National Sports Federations, Sports Clubs, Associations, and other sports institutions.

The 9th graduation marks a major step in Uganda’s sports administration development, equipping key stakeholders with essential skills to manage and promote sports effectively.
