Ronald Ssebuguzi has significantly bolstered his quest for a historic fourth National Rally Championship (NRC) title, after securing a crucial second-place finish at the challenging Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Rally in Gulu. This impressive performance sees him extend his lead at the top of the championship standings.

Ssebuguzi now commands the NRC with a formidable 294 points. While Musa Ssegaabwe now became his closest competitor with 241.5 points, Ssebuguzi’s consistent form has created a more comfortable buffer. He now holds a substantial 52.5 point advantage over the second-placed Ssegaabwe, whose position was not explicitly mentioned in the original context but is inferred by the points gap.
