Ugandan forward Samuel Ssenyonjo delivered a performance for the ages on Sunday, netting a brilliant hat-trick as AFC Leopards crushed Tusker FC 4-0 in a high-stakes Kenya Premier League (KPL) clash.

Played in front of an electric crowd of “Ingwe” faithful, the victory officially moves AFC Leopards to the top of the table with 30 points from 16 matches.

Ssenyonjo was unstoppable from the outset. The Ugandan marksman opened the scoring in the 13th minute and doubled the lead ten minutes later in the 23rd minute with a composed finish.

His influence extended beyond just scoring; in the 47th minute, Ssenyonjo turned provider, assisting Ronald Bebeto for the third goal. Ssenyonjo eventually put the icing on the cake in the 72nd minute, converting a penalty after he was brought down in the box by a Tusker defender.
