Total FC from the Yumbe District, Bidibidi has eliminated the Stanbic Uganda Cup record champions, Express in 1-0 victory this evening at Swinga Stadium in Yumbe.
Its the first time for the West Nile regional football league side to reach this stage of the competition.
The loss is Express FC’s gaffer, Badru Kaddu third consecutive loss of the season following SC Villa 1-0 and BUL FC 2-0 victories.
On the other side Uganda Premier League record champions SC villa defeated Buganda Regional League side Simba 1-0 at Namulonge to progress to next around through Aslam Ssemakula’s strike.
In the other game played today Wednesday, Rwenzori Lions needed a shootout win to eliminate Buhimba Saints FC (4-3) after a goalless stalemate in normal time.
